JO started JO's Up Close & Personal in 2000 and has the vision to not only provide unique fashions for plus size women, but, in the future, seeks to share her skills with children and youth through a training center.

JO is a creative presence and has a passion for sharing her creative gifts with children and youth. JO has over 30 years experience in designing and creating the most unique fashions available. She believes style should be matched equally with quality.

In 2004 the name JoMaWoo came to JO in a vision. Now the elegant creations are under this new inspiration based name.

JO's creations are highly regarded and draw much attention at fashion shows and on the street. She was showcased in The Detroit News a few years ago. One of her many satisfied clients is the personality & comedienne Coco.
